Notice of Position Opening External & Internal Only Full Time Title: Block Rubber Manager Posting Number: S_86 Posting Date: September 17, 2026 Reporting to: Director of Manufacturing Grade Level M1 Applications will be accepted through September 30, 2026 Position Overview Firestone Liberia LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced Block Rubber Manager to oversee the production of Technically Specified Rubber (TSR). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost- effective manufacturing operations while maintaining high product quality standards and achieving production targets. Key Responsibilities • Manage and supervise daily TSR production operations. • Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. • Lead process improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices. • Supervise, develop, and coach production teams. • Coordinate equipment maintenance and reliability activities. • Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. • Monitor and report key production performance indicators (KPIs). • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics departments. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in rubber processing or manufacturing, preferably TSR production. • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience. • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 3S principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. • Good communication, report-writing, and computer skills. • Budget & Cost Control • Equipment Reliability & Preventive Maintenance Working Conditions • Factory/plant-based environment. • May require shift work based on production schedules. • Exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery with appropriate PPE.
