VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT Chief Financial O(cid:1502)cer (CFO) Job Summary The Head of Financial Control (FINCON) is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the Bank's financial control function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, sound financial governance, and effective financial management practices. The role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting and planning, treasury oversight, capital management, regulatory reporting, internal controls, and financial risk management to support the Bank's strategic objectives while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and international financial reporting standards. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership • Develop and implement the Bank's financial control strategy in alignment with its business objectives. • Serve as a trusted advisor to Executive Management on financial performance, capital planning, and strategic financial initiatives. •Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting standards, and governance practices. Regulatory Compliance & Governance • Ensure full compliance with Central Bank regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and applicable financial regulations. • Coordinate regulatory examinations, statutory audits, and external audit engagements. •• MMaaiinnttaaiinn ssttrroonngg ccoorrppoorraattee ggoovveerrnnaannccee pprraaccttiicceess aanndd eennssuurree aaddhheerreennccee ttoo rreegguullaattoorryy fit-and-proper standards. Budgeting & Financial Planning • Lead the Bank's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. • Monitor financial performance against approved budgets and provide strategic recommendations. • Deliver financial insights that support business growth and operational efficiency. Quali(cid:1505)cations & Experience Education • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or an equivalent certification. • A Master's degree (MBA, MSc Finance, MSc Accounting, Economics, or a related field) will be an added advantage.
