NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING Internal & External| Full Time Position Title: Factory Maintenance Electrical Superintendent Posting Number: S_66 Posting Date: August 3, 2026 Reporting To: Maintenance Manager Grade Level: S3 Application Deadline: August 15, 2026 Position Summary This role is responsible for ensuring reliable electrical maintenance support for Firestone Liberia's manufacturing operations, particularly in the Block Rubber Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant. The position focuses on maintaining equipment availability, minimizing downtime, planning preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising electricians, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting calibration and installation activities across factory locations. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Technical Support • Inspect and evaluate electrical equipment and installations across all assigned facilities. • Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. • Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate timely repairs. • Install and commission new equipment in production and support areas. • Perform annual maintenance and calibration of weigh scales and other electrical devices. • Maintain accurate spare parts inventories and monitor stock levels. • Guide technicians on proper equipment disassembly, assembly, and parts installation. Supervision & Leadership • Assign work and schedule electricians to ensure adequate shift coverage. • Develop weekly maintenance schedules based on operational requirements. • Monitor work completion and maintenance quality. • Review daily shift reports and implement corrective actions when necessary. • Train electricians in work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements. • Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports. Safety & Compliance • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with environmental, health, and safety standards. • Promote safe work practices and adherence to company policies. • Support equipment reliability while maintaining regulatory and company safety requirements. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Diploma in Electricity with emphasis in Industrial Electricity. • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience as an industrial electrician. • Ability to communicate technical information effectively. • Good organizational and computer skills.
